We humans do not yet have the tools to recognize a piece of music as an interpretation of a microbe (let alone this particular one), but we know the DNA is in there somewhere, and our working with it is meant as a display of empathy for those who are suffering during this crisis.

"Initially "Play What They Want" was going to be instrumental - only drums and percussion. After I recorded all the material with Tigue and brought it home and listened I wasn't sure that I had an album. I really don't know if that's true in retrospect - but one of the first things I thought to try was have Fat Bobby from Oneida play piano on this track. It was cool but at the time I wasn't sure. This version is a lot longer than the track that made the album and it's a lot more stripped down. I think it's great." - Kid Millions / Man Forever
